Themes

The program is organized around six themes:

1. Quantum limits and magnetic nonlinear response
2. Causality, sum rules, and attainable nonlinear bounds
3. Molecular nonlinear optics: from molecular design to collective response
4. Nonlinear-optical characterization across scales
5. Engineering nonlinear interactions in nanophotonic structures
6. What nonlinear optical computing actually requires

How a session runs

Each session has three talks on a related topic, followed by a panel discussion with the three speakers. The panel is moderated by the session chair and co-chair and is open to questions and comments from the audience. A coffee break follows each session, and discussion carries on throughout the meeting.
